Hana Moriah is a Northern California–based artist from the fun and funky small town of Sebastopol. She founded her jewelry company in 2018 after spending nearly a decade immersed in California’s thriving music and arts scene. Surrounded by artists and makers, Hana was inspired to pursue her craft and turn her love of jewelry-making into something more. Hana’s work is also deeply influenced by her father, a well-known inlay artist, as well as years of international travel. Over time, her style has evolved into a “fusion” approach — blending techniques, cultural influences, geometric patterns, shape, and form. She believes beauty and originality come from unexpected combinations and thoughtful craftsmanship. Hana creates sustainably sourced, small-batch handmade jewelry with a balance of durability, quality, and an elegant yet vibrant and eclectic aesthetic. Her work includes pieces in brass, bronze, sterling silver, solid 14k and 18k gold, and mixed metals, often paired with a wide variety of beautiful gemstones. In 2020, Hana journeyed to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she attended the renowned Sterling Quest School to further develop her skills in sterling silver and stone setting. In 2022 and 2023, she worked directly under a goldsmith, expanding her expertise in goldsmithing and incorporating more gold and mixed-metal work into her collections. |
